My husband, iDad, daughter, K, and I moved to Arlington, VA in September 2009. As a mother to a two-year-old, we are constantly looking for things to do. K and I go a little stir crazy if we are kept inside for too long. There are TONS of things to do in Arlington and the surrounding DC Metro area, but I was having trouble finding a comprehensive site that focused on Arlington. Although still learning about the area, we are figuring it out as we go and want to share this knowledge with other families. I hope you enjoy as we go out and play!

Just found your blog and I also have recently moved to Arlington. I have lived here in the past, but was single and w/out children. So, the whole things to do with kids is new to me.

We’re a little further west (Loudoun county), but love the idea and will still be searching here for things to do!
If you’re willing to go to Fairfax, we just found a great park in McLean – Clemyjontri. It’s huge and we had a great time (my daugher is also 2).
