Every Wednesday I post links to some great local blogs and sites- a Who, What, and Where of DC Metro blogs.
Easter Basket Recommendations- Resourceful Mommy wrote a helpful post this week for those of us that haven’t bought Easter basket filler (who me?). She has great ideas for all ages.

What We’re Reading- Like Tricia from Reston Mom, I love books. In this post, she gives great recommendations based on what she is reading with her kids.

Surprising Things I Learned Walking With My Son- Jennifer from Hip As I Wanna Be, humorously and sweetly recounts a walk with her nine-year-old son where she learns a lot about racing, hills, rocks, and…..snot.

What you need from your local yard sales- Teach Mama always has great ideas- this post focuses on items to search for when hitting yard sales.

Little Hammers Don’t Hammer Nails Or Our Mommy Daughter Date- Kim, author of I’m Not the Nanny, details a fun mom-daughter date to Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic.

CSSBS&SSSS: Day One & Two- Always hilarious, Stimey from Stimeyland writes an account of day 1 & 2 of “Camp Stimey”. She also solved a mystery for our household! iDad took K and I to East Potomac Park a couple weeks ago to see The Awakening, and he was saddened to see it gone. It was always one of his favorite places when visiting, and this was the first time we had been to see it since moving to the area. I forgot about it until reading Stimey’ post, and now we know it has moved to National Harbor- thanks Stimey!
